We currently have opportunities in the following categories:

Sales Representatives

ADT is looking for bright, skilled professionals to grow along with us. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new sales or reactivation sales for residential and small business accounts. This position requires a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a "can do" attitude. Strong communication skills and enthusiastic drive are essential.

We are presently looking for people who have:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • A car with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a full time schedule. Available for local travel, night and weekends to accommodate the residential customers' agenda.
  • Ambitious results oriented individual with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (Consultative sales approach).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Previous residential sales experiences are a plus.

Installation Technicians (Canadian Applicants only please)

If you are a dedicated individual ready to learn to install ADT's Security systems and wish to acquire marketable skills and maintain a successful job position, join the industry-leading ADT installation team.

Candidates should have successful experience in either Residential or Small Business low-voltage wiring practices, and should be self-starters. This position will require you to work face-to-face with the ADT Management Team as well as with ADT Clients, and to represent yourself professionally in both situations. The nature of our business and availability of our client base may require you to participate in an "On-Call" rotation. The installation of ADT Security Systems are conducted in a variety of locations and under varying circumstances and conditions.

The ideal successful candidate is a High school graduate with supplementary courses in electronics/electricity or equivalent, and as a minimum should be able to:

  • Interpret electrical drawings, technical bulletins and building plans.
  • Instruct/Teach/Train subscribers or customers in system operation procedures and care of security equipment.
  • Provide references that are willing to attest to the quality of your work, and have that work examined for acceptability by ADT.
  • Have a minimum of three years work experience as an alarm installer, or a position with similar related duties which should be in the fields of Card Access, Closed Circuit TV and Intercom.

After a suitable training period, you would be expected to exhibit acceptable performance in the following:

  1. Install, dismantle, and maintain security systems, Closed Circuit TV, Access Control and other related equipment as required.
  2. Test and evaluate system components to ensure establishment of service.
  3. Provide operating instructions to appropriate personnel.
  4. Report defective material or inaccuracies in job information that may result in inadequate protection.
